Meetings begin at 12 noon with lunch followed by meeting beginning at 1 pm. Meeting concluded by 4:30 pm.

Discuss how companies are utilizing fully integrated and automated applications to handle interactions with their employees.  We will display available features for employee interaction as it relates to on-boarding, electronic timecards, PTO requests, open enrollment, life events, employee demographic, tax changes, and electronic forms.  Finally, we will discuss the next steps required to take your business to the next level of employee engagement.


Julia Pavlovic  - Currently, Julia is a Human Capital Consultant with Paycom.  For the past three years, she has helped organizations by providing a complete HRIS solution to lower labor costs, drive employee engagement and reduce exposure.  Julia is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and in the past has held various leadership roles in the Sales and Marketing Industry.

Review the top IRS hot topics directly from a Government Representative! Philip Yamalis, a Senior Stakeholder Liaison with the IRS, will discuss current issues for today's Payroll Practitioner. Focused topics to include: sensitive data security breaches and ways to protect your employee data, employer tax responsibilities and relationships with 3rd Party Payers, and the mandate on IRS to use Private Debt Collectors and the impact on tax payers.


Philip G. Yamalis is a Senior Stakeholder Liaison in the Mid-Atlantic Area of the IRS Communications & Liaison Division. Philip's responsibilities include working with the practitioner community to increase awareness of Abusive Tax Avoidance Transactions, and works with various Small Business organizations to promote voluntary compliance.  He is a certified IRS instructor, and represents the IRS at practitioner CPE sessions in Western PA and West Virginia.  Philip also coordinates the annual IRS Working Together conference in these areas.  He has conducted numerous presentations to small business, practitioner, and general audiences on topics such as IRS policies and procedures, electronic tax administration, and tax law issues. Philip attended the University of Pittsburgh, majoring in Business & Economics.
